I am so excited about your new book. Your books capture the beautiful web of emotions we feel with all of our different relationships. When I reread “You Are My I Love You” I feel nostalgic about the first time I read the book to each of my children. Thank you for this gift.

This is great news! We were lucky to discover “You Are My I Love You” when our first child was just a baby, and have eagerly awaited the publication of each of your other books since then. Although our children are now older, your books are still on regular rotation in our household. The grandparents all love “You Are My Wish”, and my daughter still enjoys singing the words in “Sleep Baby Sleep”. We are so glad you have chosen to celebrate teachers, who are such critical influences in our children’s lives. We hope to see you on your book tour for “You Are My Wonders”!

‘You Are My I Love You’ and ‘You Are My Miracle’ are two of my son’s most favorite books. We love the illustrations that go with the stories and I so appreciate the connection that we feel when reading them. It’s a reminder that I am as much of a gift to him as he is to me, and how important – and fulfilling – it is to nurture that bond with every opportunity!

My 3-year old son found this book in the bookstore and asked me to read it to him. I tried with the first page and got all teary, same with each new page I turned. Hahaha. Of course I bought it, and had the excuse to explain to him that people sometimes cry when something makes them way too happy, or when something is extremely beautiful, and that’s why Mommy couldn’t read it book to him… or why some other books and songs make me cry. But daddy could read it. And we absolutely love it!!!! It’s poetic, realistic, funny, and full of love. Simple enough for him to enjoy, and to allow for different interpretations as he grow up and his language and thought evolve. LOOOOVE THIS BOOK!!!! A perfect gift for loving fathers, especially.

I read “You Are My Miracle” to my daughter’s Montessori class this past week. The children laughed in all the right places, gazed with adoration at the beautiful illustrations, and enjoyed identifying the rhyme scheme. When I finished one student even asked, “What does lyrical mean?” Clearly a captivated audience.
